WEIGHT LOSS TIP : Basmati Rice


Growing up in Tanzania ,Rice has always been a staple food .Most people who are on a diet or on a verge to start a healthy lifestyle find it so difficult to escape having rice at either lunch or on their  dinner table.But we all have been told how rice is bad for our health and how it helps us gain weight .


For those who are interested in loosing weight and  cant give up their rice and also don't like  Brown Rice, Basmati is a good replacement of  these  .Basmati rice is a type of rice originating from India .It is a long grain rice that is usually used for indian inspired dishes.While 1 cup serving of normal white rice contains 199 calories per serving ,Basmati Rice contains 150 calories per serving.
Basmati rice also helps in minimizing bloating (kuvimbiwa ) thus helps the stomach to be flat.
